Translogic
You are here: TRANSLOGIC 1: Tesla Motors (Part 1)

In TRANSLOGIC 1.1 we check out some hot new concept vehicles like the HumanCar Imagine_PS and NASA's Puffin, then we pay a visit to Silicon Valley where we get an exclusive behind the scenes look at Tesla Motors.

AOL Autos accepts vehicle loans from auto manufacturers with a tank of gas and sometimes insurance for the purpose of evaluation and editorial content. Like most of the auto news industry, we also sometimes accept travel, lodging and event access for vehicle drive and news coverage opportunities. Our opinions and criticism remain our own – we do not accept sponsored editorial.

Nice, quasi-green auto news delivered in short sound-bytes by hyperactive/ditzy hosts! Just what the internet needed!

If in time you find this formula is overplayed, there's a pretty huge gap in the factual/insightful auto news segment. I'd love to see someone step up and be successful at that. Hopefully you are not too committed to this formula, since it's a brand new product. It would be great to have a place to find interesting car news with something more than just press-release facts or sound-bytes.

The human-powered car segment had very little information, and the Tesla roadster segment is about two years too late. That car was unveiled over four years ago, and started being delivered two years ago.

TransLogic looks like it will be a real winner for AOL Subscribers. I've been one for years (since AOL 2.0). Glad AOL's back on its own.

Great video segment on Tesla. Liked the print piece follow up but do agree the price is a bit out of reach unless Tesla Motors gives us a Translogic discount.

Dude, It's a high end sports car. You think they are gonna just give one away. Would you expect Lambergini or Porche To sell there cars at a discount ... Its actually well priced for it's class considering other sports cars can easily go for over $500 grand ... So $109 grand doesn't sound so bad when you take in consideration ,you have less maintenance .
And no gas or oil changes.
