TRANSLOGIC 14: Derringer Cycle, TidalForce M750x

I own a modified folding Paratrooper with an E+ electric conversion kit, essentially making it exactly like the TidalForce bike, just 750 watts instead of 1000 watts, and I can guarantee you it is 100% street and sidewalk legal in the U.S. (by federal law). It is also very practical. I use it to commute to work in the summer instead of driving, and given my city's hills, allows a speedy arrival without the sweat. I've had friends and a few kids take my bike around the block or more, and everyone is surprised by how simple and easy it is to ride, and also how heavy it is. It weighs about 80lbs. While you can ride it unpowered like a regular mountain bike, why would you? Even at the lowest power setting, the power assist is still ample. I've also never managed to run out of charge in one round trip, only after running two or three days without recharging. Even them I made it to within 4 blocks of home before I was muscle power only. My rough range seems to be about 20 miles on full charge with about half of that on full power, no pedaling, up and down hills. Happily, the add-on kit is a fraction of the cost of a whole bike, and with the 0% financing, a no brainer. The bike has paid for itself just in gas saved. I'd never look back. No breakdowns, no problems.

The electric bike i do not know about. However the moped is ok in my
state (Mo.) It can be used on the street so long as it has the pedals
as well an engine. It needs no registration as long as it is a true
moped, which is something you do not see much anymore.

Nice bikes BUT these bikes useless since they are not street legal and just like kids gas and electric vehicles you cannot use them on the sidewalk either.
