This guy claims he is heading for an $8500 conversion in this 2010 piece. Being stuck on the right coast with the most expensive, dumbest energy state CT..I hope he is right....I will drive out with my subaru to have converted.......can't wait to see him in Revenge of the Electric Car.

Correct. That is not a real Speedster. It is a kit car which is worthless. Makes for a nice story though. Too bad the author got duped.

A common stunt done to an uncommon car...customize it for some reason or another, why could it not have beendone to something more pedestrian like a '73 Maverick or Pinto. Especially the Pinto, since they, well...well just omit the gas tank, is all...

I own a 93 Mercury Capri. Bought it new and it is in pristine shape. Would this car be compatable with elecrtic conversion?

I invented something called a Strobe Drive. It works on the same principle as a camera flash/strobe charging a bank of condensers that power the vehicle with a WHAMB" as they discharge. A neck support is recommended.
Will make a hybrid out run a Corvette.....Alfred-
