Rennsport means racing in German, but Porsche needs no translation. The storied automaker has been synonymous with motorsport for generations, and the Rennsport Reunion at the famed Laguna Seca raceway seeks to honor that heritage. But, there's more than just nostalgic racers to be found at Rennsport. We check out the new Porsche 911, and the 767 hp 918 RSR hybrid.

they are full of ****. they have been fighting against electric drive all along and they still have no intent of ever going electric. they show concept cars with electric elements but the production cars are the same old primitive overweight combustion engine tech. they are douche liars.

they will however go electric, however much they hate it. it is inevitable. or they will die.
electric owns.

and he's full of **** when implying electric drive is a weight handicap. their cars have always been low tech overweight. if they do a car with fiber composite it can be battery electric and weigh half of what a 911 does.
doesn't even have to be carbon. fiber glass is a great material.

Quite impressive--I am 25% German heretage, but 100% says "ja vole!" . Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes are my big three--we Americans need to aspire to build such fine machinery.

Great show!!!! I love seeing the '59 Porsche drive by in the background. That is my favorite. So...did he give you the car for your birthday? And how come you never have your fabulous wife with you on these outings?
