You are here: TRANSLOGIC 110: London 2012 BMW Olympic Fleet

We travel to the London 2012 Olympics where BMW has teamed with LOCOG to provide a fleet of over 3,000 vehicles to transport everything from athletic equipment to the athletes themselves. How do they keep it all moving, while surpassing strict emissions standards? We drive the BMW X1 sDrive20d ED crossover and BMW i Pedelec e-bike concept to find out.

Ed. The BMW i Pedelec e-bike is a concept vehicle. So for now, no price or availability info.

A BMW fleet for the Olympics? Why stop there, why not Mercedes, Bentley or Porche?
After all it's taxpayers money, it's like monopoly money, has no value, it's just digits

When you see men who are dating younger women, oftentimes, these men are successful, dynamic, and high energy. And quite frankly, they don't find that with women that may be in their age range, so they find the excitement and spontaneity with younger women, and that's why they date younger women. AgeLove.com is for this kind of dating.

I once put my regular, full sized bicycle into my can and parked at free parking a mile or 2 from downtown. I rode the bike around a few places downtown. For something like that, you don't need an electric bike. A smaller one would fit into the car better.

I wish that they had shown the bike better - I wanted to see the battery and motor.

Sorry to say this past years BMW 535xi is the wrst nightmare I have driven. Bent rims, cupped tires and it's all because of a Sports package and this is suppose dto be under Warranty. But they have a clause in the Warranty that says you get screwed if you don't have a flat?
