TRANSLOGIC 119: Toyota RAV4 EV

We take a spin in the brand new Toyota RAV4 EV, the only all-electric SUV on the market and the first product of a unique collaboration between Toyota and Tesla Motors. With seating for 5, 36.4 cubic feet of cargo space and an EPA-estimated range of 103 miles, Toyota's RAV4 EV is one of the most practical electric vehicles on the market today. But how is the performance and why does it look different from the recently unveiled 2013 gas-powered RAV4? We answer these questions and more during our test drive.

I could put up with the bland looks if the price wasn't so ridiculously high. Thanks, but for that price I'd rather have the more innovative Model X.

I should have totally thought of making this kind of blog..I drove the EV1 when it was at Saturn in the late 90's..and the RAV4 EV weeks ago here in Marin! : )
